18-hole Scenic Courses Itinerary #2

Kinross Montgomery
The Montgomery lies in beautiful, unspoilt, parkland bordering Loch Leven.

Undulating greens, streams ponds and enticing tree-lined fairways provide a challenging activity to both low and high handicap golfers alike. It is laid out be a challenge to the good player, while at the same time providing fun and enjoyment for the holiday golfer and those on a club or group outing. A number of holes have views over Loch Leven to the hills beyond.  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crieff
This is a lovely course with stunning views of the Strathearn Valley.

Its relatively wide fairways and a distinct lack of heavy rough should, however, not be taken lightly, as it has a nasty bite at times. It's not just the variety of the holes that provide the challenge, the weather often plays a part in the shaping your round. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dollar
Over one hundred years old Dollar is typical of the Scottish village golf courses.

Set out by Ben Sayers on the slopes of the Ochils it is unusual in that, dictated by the terrain, there are no bunkers. The signature hole is the Second which is only 97 yards long but it is a blind shot to an elevated green where failure to get up will likely cost you. A short course built before the days of modern technology it is, nevertheless, a fair challenge. Hilly and testing, every shot requires careful thought. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pitlochry
Pitlochry Golf Course has been described as "The Switzerland of Scotland", and is one of Scotland's most scenic courses.

Not a long course but still challenging enough for all levels of players. The hardest part is staying concentrated on the golf and not the beautiful surroundings.
