Loch Leven’s Larder is a family run farm, restaurant, deli and retail shop situated three miles from Kinross – in the heart of Perthshire, easily accessible from Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee. The constantly evolving Larder gives you a differing experience on every visit with the seasonal offer, menu and events changing be it Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.

Loch Leven’s Larder is a contemporary and innovative retail destination which showcases some of the best Scotland has to offer. Our food hall and delicatessen specialises in an extensive range of local and Scottish produce. The menus created in-house are done so to include seasonality, our home grown produce and many of the products we stock in the food hall and delicatessen. Our gift shop combines an eclectic mix of contemporary Scottish giftware with quality European ranges from kitchen ware, home style, clothing, stationary, jewellery and books.

In 2002 we began farming at Channel and Pittendreich, growing vegetables for supermarkets. Loch Leven’s Larder came about partly out of our frustration at the lack of locally grown produce available in the shops. Realising our farm was situated in one of Scotland’s most picturesque locations, overlooking Loch Leven and surrounded by the magnificent countryside of Kinross-shire, we thought that in addition to selling the things we grow we could also offer the chance to taste them straight from the kitchen in our café.

Our stunning views over Loch Leven enveloped by the Lomond Hills give our customers a panoramic experience to be remembered whether enjoyed from the alfresco dining or from our Nature trail. Our experience is all-inclusive with the all weather trail suiting all ages and our mobility scooters helping the elderly and not –so-able. We are a vital part of the Loch Leven Heritage Trail offering the only place to stop for refreshments and toilet facilities on route.

The atmosphere at Loch Leven’s Larder comes partly from being surrounded by unusual fixtures and fittings. The design of our Shop and Cafe gives customers and visitors many talking points – from the large washing line to the upturned manikin legs. It was important for the business to reflect our personality. Loch Leven’s Larder has a Visit Scotland 4 star Tourist Shop.

We have a passion and commitment to Perthshire and Scottish produce, be it our own produce local produce or Scottish gift ware. We are proud to exhibit quality gift ware which is grown in Scotland made in Scotland Sold in Scotland.
